Instead of managing dozens of contracts with varying terms, the government will empower a single team to manage the contract, manage delegation of procurement authority, and oversee the administrative actions—presenting a significant time savings with decentralized ordering. The Army has determined that consolidating its existing contracts is the most advantageous approach for the Government. This strategy, which involves integrating previously competed contracts, aims to reduce the costs and achieve greater efficiencies. This EA will streamline operations, eliminate unnecessary pass-through costs, and enhance overall cost effectiveness.
