## Description

In support of Logistics Information Systems’ mission, Army Contracting Command - Rock Island awarded a sole source contract with 5 one-year ordering periods to Savi Technology, Inc. to provide Active Radio Frequency Identification hardware (supplies) to various organizations within and outside the Department of Defense. The transponders along with fixed, and-held, and portable interrogators are based on Savi developed and patented technology International Organization for Standardization 18000-7, ratified in 2014.
