## Description

Vertical Spin welder was manufactured in 1985 by Advanced Technologies Inc. (ATI). The spin welder has not been used since 2006. The system was started up and appears to function mechanically. Test welds were made in late 2023, and these failed push-off testing. It has been determined that the welder needs to be inspected and adjusted, and the PLC (an Allen-Bradley PLC-2, which is obsolete) be replaced with a modern version.
