This procurement will be in support of Rock Island Arsenal Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (RIA-JMTC) MWMSS program. **PROGRAM BACKGROUND:** The MWMSS is an assemblage of machinist cutting, measuring, and welding equipment integrated into an 8’ x 8’ x 20’ ISO mobile shelter. The MWMSS supports Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 91E, that combined the previous 44E (machinist) and 44B (Metal Worker/Welder) positions. The MWMSS is deployed to units in the field to sustain maintenance functions in the field. One complete MWMSS Plasma Table Kit is comprised of the following equipment: One (1) each; FastCut CNC Icon Scout, 4’ x 4’ plasma table One (1) each; Hypertherm, Duramax Machine Torch, model #059477, IAW drawing 11B5190112 One (1) each; Pelican (or equal) Plasma Cutter Accessory Case, IAW drawing 11B5190799 One (1) each; Plasma Table Case, IAW drawing 11B5190177 ANTICIPATED REQUIREMENT: This notice serves as the Government’s notice to industry of the intent to release a solicitation for MWMSS Plasma Table Kit. The proposed solicitation will be for a five (5) years Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), firm fixed-price (FFP) type contract. The contract will include five, one-year ordering periods. The guaranteed minimum and maximum quantities will be defined in the solicitation. The solicitation will include the following Brand Name and Brand Name or Equal restrictions: Brand Name – FastCut CNC, Inc. Brand Name – Hypertherm, Inc. Brand Name or Equal – Pelican The NAICS code for this action will be 333992 with a size standard of 1,250 employees. The anticipated solicitation will be 100% Small Business Set Aside. Contractors will be expected to provide complete plasma table kits, which consists of the equipment listed above packaged as a kit. The complete Plasma Table Kit will be subject to product verification testing/First Article Test (FAT). Complete testing requirements will be provided in the solicitation.
