## Description

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENDED SOLE SOURCE AWARD. Mission and Installation Contracting Command- Installation Readiness Center, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, intends to award a SOLE SOURCE to Thor Guard, Inc. 1193 Sawgrass Corp. Parkway, Sunrise, FL 33323-2847. This is a non-personal services contract to provide the Fort Walker Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization and Security (DPTMS) with Thor Guard Lightning Prediction and Warning System (TG360) maintenance, system and software update, and repair.

The Thor Guard system is an essential component of Fort Walker’s safety protocol, designed to predict and warn against lightning strikes in the vicinity. To ensure the system’s optimal functionality and reliability, regular maintenance is imperative. The Contractor shall provide on-demand repair, routine preventive maintenance, and periodic software, firmware, and operating system updates to the DPTMS for TG360 system components. This requirement shall be awarded as a firm fixed price contract.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811210, size standard $34.0M. This proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit or negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all capabilities received within seven (7) calendar days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government for any follow on acquisition by the Government. A determination not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Information received shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement for follow on actions. Any questions must be made in writing and directed to:
