## Description

**1.1 Scope:** The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and quality control necessary, except as specified in Paragraph 3.0 as Government Furnished, to perform Megadoor Repair Services, as defined in this PWS.

**1.1.1 Objectives:** Repair and Replace Megadoor systems components in Building 3428 (Diamond Head side) at the Hawaii Air National Guard Campus, JBPHH, Hickam AFB, HI 96853. 1.2 Background: Perform complete repair of Building 3428 Diamond Head Megadoor systems (83434) to include the replacement of four (4) rusted mullion chains, the upgrade of two (2) man door switches, the replacement of six (6) control panel stop buttons, and the replacement of one (1) phase monitor.

The Megadoor system on the west side of B3428 is malfunctioning and needs repair. The Contractor shall field verify all dimensions, materials required, and locations prior to bidding. The Contractor shall assess the Megadoor system and submit an assessment report advising of any discrepancies not included in this PWS.

The Contractor shall repair the Megadoor systems; thus, as a minimum, the Contractor shall safely ensure the Megadoor system is properly de-energized and lock-out/tag-out while performing repairs and adequately dispose of replaced parts/materials. Also, the Contractor shall replace four (4) rusted mullion chains, upgrade two (2) man door switches, replace six (6) control panel stop buttons, and replace one (1) phase monitor.
