## Description

**1.1 Scope:** It is the Government’s intent to fulfill all requirements, regulations and codes required to service two OWS and to properly recycle/dispose of petroleum products and oily water from multiple HIANG facilities at 360 Mamala Bay Drive, Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam 96853-5517.

**1.1.1 Objectives:** The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to service Oil Water Separators (OWS), transport and recycle/dispose of petroleum products including oily water at Hawaii Air National Guard (HIANG) facilities located at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam (JBPHH), as defined in this PWS.

**1.2 Background:** Two maintenance facilities for the Hawaii Air National Guard require Oil Water Separator accumulated oily water removal, transport, recycle/disposal and periodic sump cleaning.

**1.3 Period of Performance (PoP):** The Period of Performance shall be 1 Base Year of 12 months and 4 12-month option years.

**1.4 General Information:**

**1.4.1 Place and Performance of Services:** The contractor shall provide services between the hours of 0600-1430 on Monday thru Friday, except on recognized US holidays or when the Government facility/installation is closed due to local or national emergencies, administrative closings, or similar Government-directed facility/installation closings.

Performance shall be at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, buildings 3424 and 11668. The contractor shall at all times maintain an adequate work force for the uninterrupted performance of all tasks defined within this PWS when the Government facility/installation is not closed for the above reasons. When hiring personnel, the contractor shall keep in mind that the stability and continuity of the work force are essential.
