The 115th Fighter Wing intends to issue a solicitation and award a firm-fixed price contract to remove and dispose of PFAS/PFOA compromised soil in accordance with laws and regulations. Any interested concern will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating its positive intent to submit a quote as a prime contractor no later than the date indicated on this notice. This notification, which shall not exceed five typewritten pages, must include ALL of the following: (1) Positive statement of intent to bid as a prime contractor (2) A completed and signed Source Sought Response Form (3) A listing of relevant projects completed during the past six years, both for government and private industry. The type of project, dollar value, contract number, location, and point of contact are to be included. Indicate if you were prime or subcontractor, and if subcontractor, provide the name and point of contact for the prime contractor. REQUIREMENT DETAILS: The 115th Fighter Wing at Dane County Regional Airport -Truax Field, Madison, WI is conducting market research seeking capable sources for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances, and supervision necessary to remove and dispose of PFAS/PFOA compromised soil in accordance with laws and regulations. There is a single soil pile that is estimated at 13,200 CY of material and an estimated 19,600 tons. The work includes sample collection and analysis to characterize the extent of soil contamination. Sample results will be used to determine the appropriate method of disposal (hazardous vs. non-hazardous) or treatment for these soils.
