## Description

**CS IT Hard Drive Destruction.:** In order to prevent unauthorized individuals from gaining access to CUI or classified information, all Department of the Air Force (DAF) organizations are required to sanitize I.T. equipment and media before its disposal. In accordance with NSA/CSS Policy Manual 9-12 chopping, disintegration, incineration, and shredding are the only approved sanitization methods.
