## Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE The Government intends to issue a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order with Witmer Public Safety Group, Inc located at 430 West King Street Abbottstown, PA 17301, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b).

The government will acquire the services using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this requirement is 541990. The purpose of this requirement is to acquire flowtest inspections for the 167th Fire Department’s Self Contained Breathing Apparatuses via a MSA C.A.R.E certified technician. This notice is not a formal solicitation. This is not considered a Request for Quotation (RFQ).

No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No purchase order will be awarded on the basis of quotation or offers received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear, compelling, and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received, the purchase order will be awarded without further notice.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information related to the potential availability of other sources that can fulfill this requirement must be received by MSgt Philip Henderson Contract Specialist via electronic email at philip.henderson.5@us.af.mil.
