Question 1: Whose responsibility is to disconnect and hoist the recovery unit? Answer 1: Base personnel will disconnect the electricity to the unit. Contractor is responsible of removing/hoisting the unit out. Question 2: Split units have a copper condensate line attached. Who is responsible of disconnecting the units? Answer 2: Should contractor decide to temporarily disconnect the unit, contractor is responsible of the labor. In the past similar projects, contractors managed to replace the roof under the units without the need to disconnect them.
