This failure put the base's ability to respond to emergencies at risk and the acquisition of the Oshkosh compatible valve, pipe couplings, and controller was needed in order to get the vehicle operational. Failure to remedy the issue renders the Alpena CRTC Fire Department incapable of responding, specifically, to an aircraft fire on the runway and could result in serious injury to the government.
