Up to 85% of Air Force fighter pilots surveyed reported some type of spine discomfort during their career. The OHWS program is designed to meet the unique physical needs of the rated fighter pilot. These services are accomplished through a comprehensive, coordinated, multidisciplinary “pre-habilitative” physical training program with focused strength and conditioning, physical therapy and athletic training. The program is designed to give fighter pilots the tools and access to professional athletic training, massage therapy and strength and conditioning to prevent future injury and increase quality of life.
