This Sources Sought Notice is in support of market research being conducted by the 185th ARW to determine potential sources capable of fulfilling all requirements associated with the P-23 Fire Truck Engine Replacement Services. Requirement: Shipment: The contractor is responsible for the shipment of the 1996 P-23 firetruck from the 185th Air Refueling Wing to the repair facility. Once repairs are completed and P-23 firetruck functionality check is completed the contractor is responsible for shipment back to the 185th Air Refueling Wing. Repair: The contractor is responsible for the removal, and replacement of the 8V92TA 2 stroke Detroit diesel engine on the 1996 P-23 firetruck. All new fluids and filters will be included in the contract. Functionality test: The contractor will complete a full functionality test after engine is replaced. The engine must be properly tuned. Functionality test will include all firetruck water pumping components and ensure the truck is capable of pump and roll (pumping water while driving). Warranty: The contractor must provide a 1 year warranty on any work that they complete.
