Only one authorized supplier, NELCO Worldwide, original manufacture of the door systems, subject matter experts on the existing vault door system and first line of defense against radiation leakage who has the material and technical expertise to ensure technical compatibility and performance. Any purchase order will be awarded under 'other than full and open competition' as authorized by FAR 6.302-1. This is not a request for offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
