The scope of the requirement is to procure commercially available non-standard weapons, specifically the M134D-M (Marinized) Minigun System, M134D-M Marine/Vessel Mount Package, M134D-M Marine/Vessel Power Supply & Ammo Handling Equipment, M134D-M Special Tool Package, M134D-M Contractor Provided Spares Package, installation and training. The requirement will be satisfied through a single award Firm Fixed Price contract. The Solicitation release is anticipated to be on or around 15 days from the date of this notice. Please note this notice DOES NOT constitute a Request for Proposal. Responses to this announcement are not proposals and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This is not a guarantee of a future RFP/solicitation or an award. This notice should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the U.S. Government. Any information provided to the Government in response to this notice will become Government property and will not be returned.
