The round provides the Warfighter with capabilities to defeat Anti Tank Guided Missile (ATGM) teams at extended range, dismounted massed infantry, bunkers, double reinforced concrete walls, tanks, light armor, and obstacles. Additionally, the AMP M1147 consolidates the capabilities of four existing 120mm munitions, resulting in a reduced logistical burden while also allowing the Warfighter to battlecarry a single munition for multiple engagement scenarios. The AMP M1147 Cartridge will be built in accordance with a Technical Data Package (TDP) and Detail Specification (DTL). PLANNED ACQUISITION: The solicitation utilizes other than Full and Open Competition pursuant to the authority of Title 10 United States Code (U.S.C.) Section 3204(a)(3)(A), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-3, Industrial mobilization; engineering, developmental, or research capability; or expert services. The Government intends to award a single five-year, Requirements contract, with Firm Fixed Priced (FFP) orders. The contract will consist of five 12-month ordering periods for Fiscal Years (FYs) 25-30. ADVANCED TECHNICAL DATA REQUEST: The M1147 AMP TDP/DTL are marked Distribution Statement D, Distribution authorized to U.S. Department of Defense and U.S. DOD Contractors only, and are Export Controlled.
