## Description

USU intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract to Pritchett Controls, Inc. for a Twelve (12) Month Maintenance and Service Agreement, plus four (4) Twelve (12) Month Option Periods to include scheduled maintenance visits to provide the recommended support services on the existing Reliable Controls system and the GUI software. Pritchett Controls is the factory authorized dealer for Reliable Controls products in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area.

As Pritchett Controls is the only company authorized by the manufacturer, no other known vendor can meet USU's requirement of maintaining a factory authorized system. Therefore, Pritchett Controls, Inc. is the only known source that can provide the requested maintenance, support and related services. This requirement will be procured in accordance with the procedures of FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). Please see attached Notice of Intent to Sole Source for full detail.
