## Description

USCIS is seeking an automated shelving solution for the Western Forms Center (WFC) in Montclair, CA to maximize space and management abilities. The warehouse space is approximately 44,098 SqFt. The standard pallet configuration is a 40” X 48” four-way pallet, with a height of no more than 54” including the pallet itself, however we do occasionally receive pallets that exceed our height requirement.

We are intending to re-purpose our existing static racks as much as possible to this project, so it is important that the carriages and rail system be compatible and allow mounting of existing racks to the new system. Since the WFC stores pallets of paper goods, pallets can weigh as much as 1,800 LBS each.

The mobile racking system software should integrate with the existing warehouse management system (DSMS – the USCIS version of Oracle’s E-Business Suite) to enable paperless and efficient order picking and inventory management. For warehouse optimization, the provider must have a broad range of knowledge of warehouse operations, which goes far beyond the technical knowledge of the mobile racking system itself. Quality and accessibility of after-sales service are crucial to avoid or minimize downtime. The mobile racking systems must be safe for use in areas that are earthquake prone.
