The STMS allows for data share amongst programs to identify mean time between failures (MTBF), repair or replacement costs, shipping, configuration management, Item Unique Identification (IUID) implementation and tracking, trend, and fault analysis. The STMS manages and maintains logistical capabilities through logistics personnel support that manage shipping, receiving, tracking, inventorying, maintenance, and the organization of the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside of Continental United States (OCONUS) warehouses. Additionally, the STMS provides Engineering and Technical support to assist with technical requirements, Trouble Ticketing, and maintaining the SATCOM Terminal Remote Monitoring and Management (STRMM).
