All hardware is intended to meet a minimum 30-year service life. Once refurbishment is complete, the SUU-72 will be inducted into a modification line and converted into a SUU-103. The modification production line requires 9 refurbished Pylons and PLAs ready for induction no later than December 2028. There will be a requirement for additional quantities of at least 9 per year following the initial delivery for a total of 43.
