Venders must be a current manufacturer of a USDA approved official low frequency 840 devices approved for cattle prior to the solicitation closing date. The following is a link to the Device standards and approval process: https://www.aphis.usda.gov/sites/default/files/animal-id-device-standards.pdf The Contractor(s) shall furnish all the needed supplies, shipping, and equipment, to provide the ear tags including applicators. The award of one or more Firm-Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) commercial supply contract(s) are anticipated for these RFID ear tags. The anticipated period of performance for this contract is five years from the date of award. Interested manufacturers must be a qualified manufacturer of USDA approved low frequency 840 tags and applicators. The offered tags must be approved program devices, or the offeror must have submitted an acceptable devise application for approval prior to award.
