**PRON:** D13H0500D1 The Government proposes to acquire on a One Time Buy, Firm-Fixed Price contract for a quantity of FIFTEEN (15) each of a ACTUATOR, ELECTRO-ME, NSN: 1420-01-2445048;

**Part Number:** 11442185 applicable to the D6 weapon system. THIS ITEM IS SOLE SOURCED TO MPC PRODUCTS CORPORATION, CAGE CODE 19710. Production Lead Time (PLT) with First Article Testing is 1 each, 300 Days After Contract Award (DACA).

PLT without First Article Testing is 15 each, 300 Days After Contract Award (DACA) with deliveries to FORT BLISS, TX, 79916. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.

This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). The approved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data that are not economically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part.

An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activity’s procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. The qualification procedures must be approved by the Government engineering activity having jurisdiction over the part in the intended application. As a result, this acquisition is currently being procured under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency.
