\nAgency to identify potential manufacturing/supply sources, and if future efforts can be competitive or Set Aside for Small
\nBusiness. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 334511 which has a corresponding
\nSize Standard of 1350 employees. This SSS is to notify companies that the Defense Logistics Agency, Redstone Arsenal,
\nAlabama, is seeking qualified sources for the acquisition of a BORESCOPE KIT,ENGINE, NSN: 6650-01-234-1896, Part Number:
\n6650-T700-003 (VPN: 21C7779P03) in support of the T-701C (UH-60/AH-64A) BLACKHAWK WEAPON SYSTEM.
\nThis part must be acquired from a manufacturing source(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by
\nthe current version of DoD-STD-100. Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not
\navailable to permit acquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of another part, nor use of a second source part in the
\nintended application. Although, by DoD-STD-100 definition, altered and selected items shall have an adequate technical data
\npackage, data review discloses that required data or data rights are not in Government possession and cannot be economically
\nobtained. As a result, this acquisition is currently being procured under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(1) having
\nonly a limited number of responsible sources. The Government is interested in all businesses to include 8(a), small business and
\nsmall disadvantaged business, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hubzone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. All
\ncontractors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be registered as a potential source. Firms that possess the ability
\nand can produce the required item(s) described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Contractors are encouraged to

\nThe contractor shall be capable of successfully performing and complying with any and all special requirements in accordance

\nqualified source. The contractor will also be responsible for all aspects of the manufacturing/production process, including but not
\nlimited to: supply chain management, logistics, forecasting of parts, long-lead parts procurement, material forecasting,
\nobsolescence issues and final delivery of assets as well as any and all additional costs incurred resulting from contract
\nperformance.
