Our market research suggests that Raytheon is the sole approved source capable of providing the services detailed below. SPRBL1-15-D-0017 is a ten (10) year Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract providing for the support of sole-source Raytheon requirements to include spare parts, repairs, engineering services, maintenance, training, kits and performance-based logistics. The contract was awarded on 28 September 2015. The period of performance includes a six (6) year base period followed by one (1), four (4) year re-determinable option period. The contract maximum ceiling is $8B. **Task Order:** This synopsis details the intent of the Government to release a sole-source solicitation for services to support the PATRIOT Missile Support Center (PMSC) Program to Raytheon Company (CAGE Code 05716). PMSC provides prime contractor support necessary to execute the PATRIOT Field Surveillance Program to include missile assessments, testing, recertification, and repair activities at PATRIOT Missile Facility (PMF–1L) at Letterkenny Army Depot (LEAD), Missile Assembly/Disassembly Facilities (MADFs), PATRIOT Missile Facility (PMF-3), and PATRIOT Missile Transmitter Facility (PMTF). The government does not own the technical data packages or procedures to run special tooling and test equipment. Per DLAD 52.216-9006 (AUG 2005), Addition/Deletion of Items, the add-on procedures under this clause will be followed. There will be no separate solicitation issued for this action. This acquisition for PMSC support is for items for which the Government does not possess specifications or a technical data package; therefore, the Government intends to contract only with approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (I). **Approved Source(s):** Raytheon Company (CAGE 05716).
