The acquisition was unrestricted using Other than Full and Open Competition under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304 (c )(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The acquisition was restricted to the only source of supply with the capability of providing the specific T-55 engineering services the government required. If the government exercises all 6-months that is allowed per FAR 52.217-8, the final expiration date of the contract will be November 9, 2024. This is not a formal Request for Proposal under FAR Part 12 or 15 or Invitation for Bid under FAR Part 14.
