Wilford Hall Ambulatory Care Hospital currently has two (2) Asteres ScriptCenter in use, this procurement is for an additional Asteres ScriptCenter which will expand the available storage on site. The use of this authority is necessary for the purpose of purchasing equipment for both Wilford Hall Ambulatory Care Hospital at Lackland AFB. This add-on will expand the current Asteres ScriptCenter from two (2) to four (4) total units at the Wilford Hall Ambulatory Care Hospital at Lackland AFB. The use of this authority is necessary because Wilford Hall Ambulatory Care Hospital at Lackland AFB has set the following minimum requirements: Interoperable with the current pharmacy workflow, namely, iA NEXiA, Parata P2000, and ScriptPro SPCentral Utilizes fingerprint scanning and camera identification Able to scan the Department of Defense ID Card and match the patient to the prescriptions Must have an Authorization to Operate (ATO) on the Medical Country of Origin Information (MEDCOI) system ScriptCenter is connected using “Campus Mode,” allowing communications between systems regarding prescription locations, patient identities, and integrations with workflow and MHS Genesis.
