This refresh of the AFHE system at Pituffik SB is defined as replacing and/or repairing (as appropriate) the currently installed fuel system automation components, integrated Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) network, software, and all supporting components, devices, graphical user interfaces (GUIs) that enables remote access to a variety of sub-system and end-point devices, and all other structures considered to be contained within the AFHE solution. This will require highly skilled and specially trained individuals as well as a corporation who can meet the logistical challenges of providing all equipment to a remote location that faces austere weather conditions for prolonged periods of time.
