SLAC LCLS-II-HE Linac & Photon Infrastructure (LPI) Installation Package SLAC is seeking an experienced General Contractor to perform modifications to an existing MEP systems, and install new systems within the sectors 04-07 of the Klystron Gallery (KG) and Linac housing, Undulator Hall (UH), and the Sector 10 ADIT, and perform structural modifications to the slab and gallery structure at sector 07, allowing for installation of horizontal and vertical cryogenic distribution by others.

The subcontractor scope of work is to complete the physical infrastructure upgrades that will support the execution of the LCLS-II-HE upgrades. Potential bidders will need to meet all the necessary criteria outlined in Factor 7- Statement of Qualifications contained in Section L of the draft RFP. A partial list of the requirements include the following:

An established local office for a minimum of 3 years in the San Francisco Bay Area. The San Francisco Bay Area is defined as the following 10 counties: Santa Clara, San Mateo, San Francisco, Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, Sonoma, Solano, and Santa Cruz Counties Previous experience working at Department of Energy (DOE) and/or Department of Defense (DOD) Facilities The SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory (SLAC) is operated by Stanford University as a contractor for the United States Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Science (SC). SLAC supports a large national and international community of scientific users performing innovative research in support of the DOE mission.
