## Description

PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a sole-source, one-time, firm-fixed price purchase order (PO) to Creative Electron, Inc., [CAGE Code 54S43], 201 Trade Street, San Marcos, California, 92078 for one (1) TruView Fusion X-ray Inspection System.

The North American Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334517: Irradiation Apparatus Manufacturing; and the Product and Service Code (PSC) is 6640: Laboratory Equipment and Supplies. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is Title 41 U.S.C.

3304(a)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, “Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.” The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source.

All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, to Contracting Officer Bryan Lane, no later than 7:00 AM (EST) on 7 June 2024. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses shall include the firm’s Unique Entity ID (UEI) number and their Business Size. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

Telephone requests will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No reimbursement for any cost connected with providing capability information will be provided. The information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a contract. Vendors must be registered in SAM, (effective July 29, 2012), to receive government contracts.

The FBI utilizes a financial system that has a direct interface with SAM. Please ensure that your company’s SAM information is updated and accurate. This includes the TIN, EFT, DUNs, UEI, addresses, and contact information. The EFT banking information on file in SAM will be what the FBI uses to process payment to your organization.
