## Description

PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a sole source, firm fixed-price contract to?FARO Technologies, Inc., Address: 125 Technology Park, Lake Mary, Florida 32746-6204?for the FARO annual calibration of the existing FBI FARO equipment in support of Operational Projects Unit (OPU) in the Training Division (TD).

FARO is the sole provider for its software service, warranty, maintenance, annual calibration, and training programs, therefore, FARO technologies Inc., is the Sole Source capable of fulfilling the requirements of the FBI. This notice will be distributed solely through the U.S. General Services Administration’s sam.gov website (www.sam.gov). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the sam.gov website to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.

The North American Classification System Code is 334513, Instruments and Related Products Manufacturing for Measuring, Displaying, and Controlling Industrial Process Variables. The FBI intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(b)(1). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement and quotation to the attention of:

Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or not. Telephone requests will not be considered.
