Amendment No. 1 extends the solicitation due date to April 9, 2026, and updates other dates. The Service is extending the solicitation period because the previous Concession Contract No. CC-SEKI001-19 (Expired Contract), has now expired and the Service wishes to allow for more time for interested parties to view the prospectus and submit a proposal. The Service provided the previous concessioner with a one-year extension of the now Expired Contract to continue visitor services for the 2026 operating season. However, the previous concessioner elected in December 2025 not to sign that extension, and as such, there is no longer a current concession contract in place for the 2026 operating season. Although the projected effective date of the Draft Contract is January 1, 2027, the Service is interested in providing visitor services during the 2026 operating season if feasible and mutually acceptable to the selected entity for this solicitation.
