No solicitation or specifications are available at this time. The General Services Administration (GSA), New England Region, Acquisition Management Division, is conducting market research to determine if any SDVOSB, HUBZone, WOSB, or 8(a) Small Business concerns have the current relevant qualifications, experience, personnel, and capability to perform the work described herein. The work shall include but not limited to materials, labor, equipment, disposal, associated administrative, scheduling coordination and security costs required to perform construction renovations associated with interior remodeling and exterior windows and storefront replacement. The building is half slab-on-grade and half foundation with concrete slab which provides an approximate, 4’ crawl space. There is no attic space and has drop ceiling tiles throughout. The Base Bid will include remodeling the radio room, including constructing a new kitchenette, constructing a new ADA/ABBA Single use, unisex bathroom and installing new security devices. Option 1 will be to replace all other windows and doors not covered under the base bid. The estimated cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. All qualified Small Businesses are encouraged to respond. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. One of the main purposes of this Sources Sought Notice is to assist the Contracting Officer in determining if a Set-Aside is the acceptable strategy for the procurement.
