The system is currently on site and integrated into the 56 MDG Laboratory Information System. Technicians are fully trained and competent with the current equipment allowing continued and uninterrupted laboratory services, keeping patient care and safety paramount. The current instrument has not reached its life-cycle capabilities, and acquiring a new instrument would be a waste of resources for stakeholders involved. Further, Diagnostica Stago STA/Satellite analyzer performs FDA Approved quality controls which are required to run only once daily to support mechanical clot detection. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and a solicitation will not be issued. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government.
