## Description

This procurement is to acquire frangible spheres on an annual basis with no more than 360 per year over a five (5) year ordering period.

The Naval Air Warfare Center - Aircraft Division (NAWC-AD) Advanced Dynamic Range Measurement System (ADAMS) program at the Atlantic Test Range (ATR) has a requirement for up to 1,800 frangible spheres or up to 360 per year over 5 years to perform radar measurement services for aircraft that support the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Program, as well as, multiple Navy, Air CUI N00421-24-R-0078 Force and Army programs during flight test missions.

The frangible spheres are used to calibrate the ATR/ ADAMS radars before, during, and after each mission improving test range safety standards while meeting critical technical requirements set by the Navy Range Safety Office. The ordering period for the resulting contract will be 8 December 2024 through 7 December 2029.
