This will ensure that there are acceptable levels of non-ionizing radiation around the RF distribution lines after constructed or modified. Fermilab expects the RF distribution to run fully reflected from the cavity. Cross talk between ports during operation must be limited for diagnostic purposes. The procurement of the fixed transmission line has not begun, no commitment to brand at this time. Fermilab has found that the termination is the most delicate part of the directional coupler. Previous replacements have occurred in the past. Having an external termination makes repair process easier.
