## Description

The United States (US) Department of Energy (DOE)’s Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory (PPPL) requires the service of a Hazardous Waste Subcontractor for the management, transportation, and disposal of hazardous waste at RCRA-permitted treatment, storage, and disposal facilities (TSDFs). Waste materials are to be transported and disposed of at PPPL pre-approved TSDFs on an as-needed basis.

The number of transportation units, and quantities of waste transported and disposed will vary depending upon the needs of PPPL. PPPL may require the services of the Hazardous Waste Subcontractor to perform emergency and routine spill cleanup, vacuum truck clean-out services, sampling of wastes, and other duties as required by PPPL.

In addition, the Hazardous Waste Subcontractor may be called upon in the future to perform all waste management activities on site to include collection, intra-site transportation, characterization, storage, packaging, and arrange for transportation and disposal of hazardous waste. On site work activities will also vary depending upon the needs of PPPL.

A mandatory pre-proposal meeting has been scheduled for 1:30 PM on 15 Sep 2025. Offerors are strongly encouraged to review the prequalification information referenced in Section III of the solicitation. If, after reviewing the proposal preparation instructions you are convinced that you can qualify and submit a competitive proposal, please complete and submit the RFP acknowledgment form listed in the RFP attachments
