**DISCLAIMER:** This Request For Information (RFI) is issued solely for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. The attached performance work statement (PWS) is in draft only, and is subject to change based on market research responses. Any dates referenced are subject to change if a solicitation/ RFQ is issued. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked as proprietary will be handled accordingly.

In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. Failure to respond to this RFI will not preclude participation in any future solicitation.

**BACKGROUND:** The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is conducting market research and attaining information to identify contractors that are capable of performing the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) requirements identified in the attached PWS.

The O&M services contemplated under this requirement are to support the buildings and facilities at the following National Institute for Ocupational Safety & Health (NIOSH) campuses: Pittsburgh, PA Spokane, WA Morgantown, WV Cincinatti, OH Key requirements include facilities and physical plant operations, maintenance, repair, and select support services for the above NIOSH sites, including all buildings, utilities, roadways and grounds that make-up the referenced CDC/NIOSH facilities in order to maintain continuous facility operations.

An 8(a) set aside is being considered. Further information (including the draft PWS) relating to this O&M requirement can be found in the attachments portion of this posting.

**RESPONSES REQUESTED:** At a minimum, the Government is requesting that responses to this RFI include the following:

Contractor point(s) of contact name, address, telephone number, and email address, and the company's SAM Unique Entity Identification Number. Identification of business size classification: HUB-Zone, 8(a), Small Business, Small Disadvantage Business, Women Owned Business, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOSB), or Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB). Confirmation as to whether or not contractor is on GSA schedule. If on a GSA schedule, please provide the GSA contract number.

Confirmation of ability to conduct site visits to the NIOSH campuses in Pittsburgh, PA, Spokane, WA, Morgantown, WV and Cincinatti, OH. Descriptive literature demonstrating ability to meet all of the requirement/salient characteristics outlined in the attached draft PWS. List of contracts (including contract number and type of contract) for commercial, federal, state, and local governments.

Listed contracts shall provide communication on the Government requirement illustrating the capability for comparison to specific requirements per the draft PWS. Capabilities of performing O&M requirements organically (in- house) versus subcontracting for labor. Ability to gain access to subcontractors for work that cannot be carried out organically. Vetting process for obtaining subcontractors. General feedback regarding the draft PWS is also encouraged.
