This initiative is crucial for maintaining a consistent, professional appearance across our sites, ensuring a uniform experience for forest users who frequently encounter multiple kiosks within a single trip. Given the challenges of high-elevation environments, it is imperative that our kiosks withstand significant harsh weather conditions. RockArt's are constructed with thick 6”x6” oxo metal square-tube vertical posts, slotted mounting tabs which expand and contract to accommodate different weather conditions, tamper resistant hardware, 3/16” thick , clear UV polycarbonate cover, and thicker/wider span of the gable style shingled 0.125 inch steel roofing that provides for optimal protection of Forest Service visitors from the elements while accessing information, enhancing their overall experience, all which demonstrate a clear advantage over thinner materials and characteristics offered by other vendors. The durability and longevity of RockArt kiosks have been displayed through our previous installs, highlighting the substantial advantages over older, inferior models that are now being replaced. The estimated value of this procurement is >$150,000. This action is conducted under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) for single source. The Government anticipates the award of a Firm-Fixed Price purchase order. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339950 Sign Manufacturing, with an applicable size standard of 500 Employees. This is a notice of intent and is not a request for competitive quotes. Any response to this notice is due in writing with sufficient information to establish capability to fulfill the requirements within five (5) business days of the date of this publication.
