In light of this Executive Order and the success of the Pilot conducted under Task Order 15JPSS25F00000380 (Pilot [hereafter referred to as “Phase I”]), the Attorney General issued a mandatory directive requiring real-time caseload reporting and tracking metrics for the Department’s litigation efforts to be rolled out within 120 days. Both tracking and reporting are needed as soon as possible to inform critical workforce and work product decisions made by senior leadership. In the absence of an automated system, the Department will be left to manually gather and analyze Department data, which is an unacceptable alternative.
