The TNCC is a standardized training program developed by the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) to enhance trauma care by military nurses in both prehospital and clinical environments. This training ensures consistent trauma care standards in operational and garrison settings, enabling rapid decision-making and interventions. The Defense Medical Readiness Training Institute uses TNCC to prepare military nursing personnel assigned to Role 2 and Role 3 medical units.
