The DHA OSBP is responsible for implementing and overseeing statutory and regulatory small business programs. The DHA OSBP advises the DHA Director on all matters related to small businesses and is committed to maximizing the contributions of such businesses in support of DHA’s mission and the acquisition and products to support the mission. The OSBP provides leadership and governance to the DHA Component Acquisition Executive and DHACA and collaborates with the leadership, program, and technical stakeholders to ensure acquisition strategies result in a positive outcome for small businesses regarding contract requirements. The OSBP ensures that maximum practicable prime and subcontracting opportunities are made available to all small businesses as critical suppliers of required healthcare capabilities and services that meet the needs of the warfighters by creating opportunities for small businesses while ensuring each tax dollar is spent responsibly.
