## Description

The Government is conducting Market Research to identify potential sources that possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements to conduct a flight inspection on the TACAN 710E E-Scan Antenna utilizing the AN/TRN-41 Man-Portable TACAN system. The flight inspection will satisfy the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) 8200.52A and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Annex 10, Volume I, Chapter 2, 2.2.1.

The Government shall furnish the contractor with access to information, materiel, and equipment necessary to complete the flight inspection. The flight inspection does not require security clearances. Travel shall be required for the contractor to meet this requirement. The Vendor SHALL provide: An aircraft fully capable of performing TACAN flight inspection within the frequency range of 962MHz to 1213MHz.

The contractor shall supply calibrated measurement equipment that shall store & produce raw data (in graphic format) and produce reports. The flight inspection shall satisfy the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) 8200.52A and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Annex 10, Volume I, Chapter 2, 2.2.1 for TACAN. The flight inspection will utilize the test plan provided to the contractor by the Government.

**CAUTION:** This market survey is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements to conduct a TACAN flight inspection. Contractors/Institutions responding to this market research are placed on notice that participation in this survey may not ensure participation in future solicitations or contract awards as this survey is for planning purposes and may not result in a solicitation or contract. The government will not reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this survey.
