U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Laboratories and Scientific Services (LSS), intends to issue a purchase order to Orange Photonics, 176 Newport Road, New London, NH 03257, on a sole source basis for the purchase of two (2) portable cannabis analyzers for use in laboratory and field settings.
\n\nThe analyzers will support rapid screening and triage of drug seizures, commodities, and potentially violative items by assisting with the detection and identification of cannabinoids and determining the relative dry weight amounts of detected cannabinoids.
\n\nThe required analyzers shall be human-portable, self-contained, capable of analyzing samples in under 20 minutes, able to store analysis data onboard, and able to transfer data files and results to a USB flash drive. The requirement includes inside delivery, setup, initial software configuration, in-person training, hard-sided carrying cases, and accessories and consumables needed to conduct 200 scans/analyses, 100 per unit.
