## Description

The “U.S. Ingredient Demonstration and Fest” event is designed to engage representatives from the Colombian hotel, restaurant, bar, institutional, and catering (HRI) sectors through two complementary activities that will be executed in Bogota: (1) A cooking demonstration led by one culinary expert that will provide HRI representatives with training on incorporating U.S. products into their menus, and (2) a U.S. products festival connecting USDA trade promotion associations (USDA Cooperators) with HRI.

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Foreign Agricultural Service in Bogota (FAS Bogota) will host a “U.S. Ingredient Demonstration and Fest” activity for HRI representatives to promote U.S. food and beverages and support USDA Cooperators to develop and maintain the market for the full spectrum of U.S. farm and food products, including consumer-oriented goods, beverages, and other specialty foods in Colombia.

By boosting agricultural export revenue and volume, FAS market development programs support U.S. farm income, enhance the overall U.S. economy, and make America more prosperous. The Government intends to award a Purchase Order resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable list of prices. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion.
