The system shall provide continuous, uniform illumination along the entire perimeter fence/wall to support: Deterrence of unauthorized approach Detection of intruders Assessment through CCTV and guard observation Safe nighttime patrol operations The system must meet U.S. Government security standards, NEC (NFPA 70), and Zimbabwean electrical and lighting regulations. The Embassy intends to conduct a pre-quotation conference at the site, The pre-proposal conference will be held on June 3, 2026 at 10.00am (Harare time) at a U.S. Embassy residence. Prospective offerors/quoters should contact HarareGSOProcurement@state.gov by 1500hrs on June 01, 2026 for additional information or to arrange entry to the building. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
