## Description

The requirement is to provide vehicle rental in Dubrovnik, Croatia. The estimated value for the entire period of performance is 26,562.50 € (out of this amount 21,250.00 is the amount w/o VAT, while VAT portion is 5,312.50). The scope of services includes rental of 8 vans, 2 cargo vans and one SUV. While multiple transport providers exist and are available vendor Sunny Tours was selected for following reasons:

**Executive Fleet:** Provision of a high-end, uniform fleet of late-model luxury vehicles (e.g., Mercedes-Benz S-Class, V-Class, and Sprinter Minibuses) maintained to international safety standards. It was also important for Government to provide all required vehicles from one supplier which this supplier was capable to do.

**Professional Chauffeurs:** Multi-lingual, security-vetted drivers experienced in diplomatic protocol and VIP handling.

**Logistical Management:** 24/7 on-site dispatch services to manage real-time scheduling changes and emergency transport needs.

**Security Integration:** Drivers trained in defensive driving and capable of integrating with personal security details for high-profile guests.

**Local Geographic Expertise & Traffic Mitigation:** Dubrovnik’s unique topography—characterized by narrow, one-way limestone streets and extreme seasonal congestion—requires drivers with deep local knowledge. This firm utilizes a "local-first" driver pool that understands the nuances of the Pile Gate transit zones and restricted areas where GPS is often unreliable. Their proven ability to navigate these specific bottlenecks is critical for maintaining the conference schedule.

This conference is important to the mission because the conference will bring together political leaders, investors, and business leaders to focus on energy, transport, and digital infrastructure connectivity. The U.S. Embassy Zagreb has a requirement for these services between the dates of April 21- May 1st, 2026. Rental services will commence and end on different dates in this period.
