## Description

The U.S. Consulate General Hermosillo is formally announcing the intent to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order (on a sole source basis) for the services described below:

**Intended Recipient:** Telefonos de Mexico S.A.B. de CV Avenida Parque Via 198, Cuauhtemoc 06500 CDMX Mexico Intent to sole-Source: The US Consulate General Hermosillo, Mexico intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price purchase order to Telefonos de Mexico S.A.B. de CV for a 12-month period of performance for the acquisition of SIP Circuit for VoIP Telephone Service to be provided at NCC (new consulate compound).

Given this is a follow-on requirement, the Contracting Offcer has determined that it is in the Government's best interest to sole source this requirement.

Sole Source Justification The SIP Circuit for VoIP Telephone Services to be provided is a follow-on requirement with the vendor that is currently providing these services, since the incumbent contractor is the only vendor with propietary infraestructure that will provide full reliability for the SIP circuit and analog lines for post's telephone systems service from our current range of vendors without the use of media converters of any type, that might degrade the quality of service we receive. The incumbent contractor already provides E1 circuit for our current telephone system, as well as the multipair cable for our current lines. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proporsals. For specific questions, please contact Michael K Fogo, Contracting Officer at: hermogsocontracts@state.gov
