## Description

The U.S. Army Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment Activity (USATA) has a requirement for a brand name to procure one (1) Model 5517A Laser Head to serve as a replacement that is part of the APSL Dimensional Laboratory’s Laser Micrometer measuring system. The Laser Head shall include the following:

•maximum velocity with linear optics: 400 mm/s •reference frequency: 1.5 to 2.0 MHz •weight: 5.5 kg (12 lb) •warmup time: < 10 minutes •warranty-3 years
