The supply description is \"Brand Name or Equal\" for the Harsco Mark IV Switch/Production Tamper. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 336510 – Railroad Rolling Stock Manufacturing and the federal supply code for this procurement is 2230 – Right-of-Way Construction and Maintenance Equipment, Railroad. The Government anticipates award of a firm-fixed-price contract. The brand name or equal salient characteristics are listed in Attachment 0001. The contractor will be required to deliver the tamper to McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, McAlester, OK and set it up. Please provide your interest and capability by 20 November 2024 via email to pamela.m.grys.civ@army.mil. Also, include your cage code and business size. Please note: If a contractor provides a quote on a brand name basis, the contractor MUST be an authorized distributor of Harsco Rail Equipment to be considered for the brand name.
